Privacy policy
Last updated October 8, 2026
This policy describes how Offensive Threads LLC d/b/a Pewter Pixel (“Pewter Pixel,” “we,” “us”) handles information onpewterpixel.com and in the course of designing, hosting, and caring for client websites. It is written in plain language. A signed service agreement may add details for a particular project.
Who we are
Pewter Pixel is a trade name of Offensive Threads LLC, based in Riverview, Florida. For privacy questions, email hello@pewterpixel.com.
Information we collect
Information you send us
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive what you choose to provide. That typically includes:
- Your name and email address
- A phone number, if you include one
- Your business name and current website
- The message itself, including which plan you are considering
Please don’t send passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive records through the form or by email.
Information collected as the site is served
The marketing site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosts, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We use that for security and operations, not to build advertising profiles.
Client project materials
If you become a client, we also handle the content you give us for the website: text, logos, photos, menus, hours, and similar material. You are responsible for having the rights to what you send.
How we use information
- To reply to a consult request and decide whether a project is a fit
- To design, build, host, and update a site you hire us for
- To keep backups and recover from a mistake or an outage
- To meet bookkeeping, tax, and legal duties
- To protect the site and our clients from abuse
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The contact form
The form on this site is there to deliver your note to hello@pewterpixel.com. When email delivery is connected, the message is sent to that inbox (or another studio inbox we configure) and we use it to respond. When delivery is not connected, the form tells you so and offers a ready-to-send email instead. Either way, submitting the form does not start a paid plan and does not add you to a marketing list.
Cookies and analytics
This marketing site does not set advertising cookies and does not use a third-party analytics product. A host may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar storage to keep the service secure. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy before it starts.
Who we share information with
We share information with service providers who process it on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and client sites we place on its network
- An email delivery provider, once one is connected, so contact-form messages can reach our inbox
- A domain registrar, if you ask us to help with a domain you register in your own name
- Professional advisers (for example, an accountant) when the law or ordinary business requires it
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of the studio, our clients, or the public. Embedded tools you ask us to place on your site — a scheduler, a map, a payment link — are run by those companies under their own policies. We’ll name them when we add them.
How long we keep it
Consult messages are kept long enough to respond and to keep an ordinary business record of the conversation, then deleted or archived with the rest of our mail. Client project files and backups are kept for the life of the plan and for a reasonable period afterward so we can hand you a copy and meet legal duties. Host logs follow the host’s retention schedule.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we don’t have to keep it. Email hello@pewterpixel.com. We may need to confirm it’s you before changing a record. You can also stop emailing us; that ends the conversation, and it doesn’t by itself cancel a signed service agreement.
Children
This site and our services are meant for businesses, not for children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We use HTTPS, a static marketing site, and a host with a smaller attack surface than a typical plugin stack. No method of transmission or storage is perfect. Don’t send secrets through the contact form.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above. A material change to how we handle client content will also be raised with active clients when the service agreement requires it.
